Ambassador Ahmed Sareer Presents Credentials to Kuwait’s Foreign Minister

Ahmed Sareer, the newly appointed Non-Resident Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to the State of Kuwait, officially presented his Letters of Credence to Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Yahya, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, yesterday during a ceremony held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kuwait.

Following the credential presentation, Ambassador Sareer extended warm greetings and best wishes from President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, on behalf of the government and the people of the Maldives. He expressed his appreciation for the longstanding friendship and cooperation between the two nations and reaffirmed his commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations and advancing areas of mutual interest during his tenure.

The Foreign Minister of Kuwait congratulated Ambassador Sareer on his appointment and wished him success in his role as the Maldives’ Non-Resident Ambassador to Kuwait.

Ambassador Sareer also currently serves as the Ambassador of the Maldives to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He was accompanied at the ceremony by Ahmed Fazeel, Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Maldives in Riyadh.

This appointment reflects the Maldives’ continued commitment to enhancing its diplomatic engagement and fostering regional partnerships in the Middle East.
