Dhiraagu has announced the opening of applications for its flagship Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Programme 2025, a key Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at developing Maldivian youth through structured on-the-job training. Recognised as the first corporate apprenticeship programme of its kind in the Maldives, it offers participants the opportunity to earn while they learn.
The programme is designed to familiarise young individuals with the corporate work environment, while enhancing their professional skills through training across various fields, including Administration, Marketing, Sales, Procurement, Corporate Services, Finance, Human Resources, and Technology. Participants will also receive in-house training on essential soft skills, such as time management, project planning, and presentation techniques.
The 2025 intake is open to Maldivians aged 18–30 who have completed their A’ Levels and are not currently employed full-time. Opportunities are available at Dhiraagu’s head office in Malé and operation centres in Fuvahmulah City, Kulhudhuffushi City, Addu City, Baa Atoll, and Ari Atoll.
Since its inception in 2009, the Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Programme has trained 268 individuals, many of whom have gone on to establish successful careers within Dhiraagu and other organisations across the Maldives.
Applications can be submitted online at https://bit.ly/2024Apprenticeship until 1 December 2024. For more information, interested candidates can contact Dhiraagu’s Brand & Marketing Communications team.
By continuing this initiative, Dhiraagu reaffirms its commitment to empowering young people and nurturing future leaders, providing them with the skills and experience needed to excel in their careers.
