To ensure its services are provided in line with the guidelines issued by HPA and announcement by the Maldives Monetary Authority, Bank of Maldives has made changes to its working hours from 23rd – 27th May 2021.
BML branches and service centres will be open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 08:30am to 12:30pm.
The following essential services will be processed throughout the week:
- International Transfers
- BML Cheque Processing
- Payroll Processing
Service | Details |
International transfers | Transfer requests received by 11am will be processed on the same day. |
Payroll processing | Payroll requests to BML accounts received by 12pm will be processed on the same day. Payroll deposits to other bank accounts will be processed if received before 11am. |
ATM cheque processing | All clearing cheques deposited to ATM by 9:30am will be processed the same day.BML cheques deposited before 12pm will be processed on the same day. |
Local bank transfers | Local bank transfers (ACH & MRTGS) received by 11am will be processed on the same day. |
If requests are received after the cut-off times, these will be processed on the next working day.
Furthermore, customers can request for tokens for the Bank’s services in Male’ City through the QueueBee app and check waiting position online before visiting. Online tokens will be available from 8:30am to 12pm on banking days via the app.
