Bayfancy Residence has successfully completed the superstructure of its 18-storey luxury development, marking a major milestone in the project’s journey toward becoming one of Hulhumale’s premier residential addresses.
The milestone means the building has now reached its full height, with the structural frame completed from foundation to rooftop.
The project’s developers say the achievement reflects their commitment to timely delivery, rigorous engineering standards and transparent reporting, bringing future residents closer to enjoying a modern, luxurious living space in Hulhumale’ Phase 2.
“Every stage has been planned, documented and shared publicly so that buyers could track the journey in real time,” the company said in a statement.
Work began with a deep-pile foundation, completed on 12 December 2024, when more than 350 piles were driven up to 12 metres below ground to ensure long-term stability. Later that month, steel sheet-pile shoring was installed to protect the excavation. By March 2025, the basement and ground-floor slabs had been cast, with the above-ground structure progressing steadily in the months that followed. The first floor was finished on 29 March, followed by the 13th floor on 9 August, the 16th on 4 September, the 17th on 14 September, and the 18th on 23 September.
According to Bayfancy, careful planning and visible accountability were key to keeping the project on track. Materials were secured in advance, overlapping workflows adopted for structural, masonry and MEP works, and dual safety systems put in place to protect crews.
“Every milestone was communicated publicly, allowing buyers to track and verify that the project stayed on schedule,” the company said.
Advanced engineering techniques, from deep-pile foundations to precision alignment systems, ensured structural integrity and long-term durability. Safety measures, including edge protection, hoist barriers and daily load inspections, were standardised across the site.
Bayfancy has also highlighted plans for the 17th floor, which is being designed as a “Lifestyle Floor” with an infinity pool, gym, yoga deck, children’s play areas, billiard area and barbecue facilities.
The completion of the superstructure marks the end of the heaviest engineering work. With the building now at full height, attention will turn to finishes and amenities. Bayfancy Residence is now entering the next phase of development, remaining committed to quality, timely delivery and creating a landmark living experience.
