Participants gearing up for the Dhiraagu Fuvahmulah Run 2025 (DFR) can now collect their bibs and race kits as Dhiraagu begins its official distribution across two locations: Male’ and Fuvahmulah City.
The bib collection in Male’ will take place at the DFR Bib Expo Centre, located on the first floor of Dhiraagu Head Office on Ameenee Magu, from 20 to 21 April. On the 20th, participants can collect their kits between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM, and again from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The following day, the centre will be open from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
In Fuvahmulah City, the Bib Expo will be held from 30 April to 1 May 2025 at the City Council Office in Kurundhuma Maalam. Participants there will also have three time slots each day: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Each race kit includes a bib embedded with a timing chip, a race t-shirt, a string bag, and four safety pins. Participants must present either their national ID card or a photo of it at the time of collection for verification.
DFR is a special edition of the Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race (DMRR)—the country’s most popular running event—and this year’s race is set to take place in Fuvahmulah City on Friday, 2 May 2025.
