Bank of Maldives has announced the winners of its Small Grants Fund introduced as part of the series of 12 high-impact monthly community initiatives to celebrate the Bank’s 40th anniversary.
The fund was announced to support Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) to implement community-based projects that address environmental issues and promote sustainable development. Each winner will receive a grant of MVR 250,000 to successfully implement the plan.
The eight NGOs to win the BML Small Grants are:
- Maldives Ocean Plastic Alliance (MOPA)
- Huvadhoo Association for Tourism (HAT)
- Vaadhoo Association for Future Development (VAFD)
- Kumundhoo Revival Initiative (Kurevi)
- Women in Fuvahmulah
- Small Island Research Group
- Huvadhoo Aid
- Kihaadhoo Development Society (KIDS)
