Corporate Maldives has signed up as the official media partner for Hospitality Investment Conference Indian Ocean, which will be held in Hilton Colombo, Sri Lanka from 24 – 25 August 2016.
Returning for the third time in 2016, Hospitality Investment Conference Indian Ocean (HICIO) 2016 will cast the spotlight on the future of the respective hotel markets in the Indian Ocean (IO) region. The 2015 conference brought together about 150 decision makers from 13 different countries, with the same goal of understanding what investment opportunities the IO region has to offer. Last year, Hon. Ravi Karunanayake, Minister of Finance of Sri Lanka; and the former Minister of Tourism of the Maldives delivered the opening ministerial addresses.
The Ministers spoke of the importance of open skies policies as a key driver of the tourism industry, which directly impacts demand for hospitality services in the IO region.
