Dhiraagu has extended its support to the Special Education Needs (SEN) unit, Sunshine Class, at HDh. Atoll Education Centre as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. The initiative, aimed at fostering inclusivity, reflects Dhiraagu’s commitment to empowering communities across the Maldives.
A special event was held at HDh. Atoll Education Centre in Kulhudhuffushi City to formalise the contribution. As part of this initiative, Dhiraagu provided automatic and locking chairs to assist students with mobility challenges, along with essential materials for sensory and activity areas to enhance classroom learning.
Speaking at the event, Mohamed Ali, Assistant Manager of Dhiraagu Kulhudhuffushi Operations Centre, reaffirmed the company’s dedication to supporting education and inclusivity. He noted that the contribution would aid educators and caregivers in creating growth opportunities for students with special needs.
The Principal of HDh. Atoll Education Centre, Mohamed Matheen, expressed gratitude to Dhiraagu for its continued support. He highlighted the positive impact this initiative will have on children with disabilities and underlined its role in advancing the school’s goals for inclusive education.
