Dhiraagu Launches Mobile Legends Qualifiers for National Esports Championship

Dhiraagu has officially launched the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Conquest Qualifiers, giving Maldivian gamers a direct path to the Dhiraagu Maldives Gaming Conquest (DMGC), one of the country’s largest esports competitions.

Organised under the Dhiraagu Gamers Guild (DGG), the tournament is open to players from across the country, with free registration available until 10 April 2025 at 23:59hrs. The online-only format ensures equal opportunity for gamers from every island to take part and compete for a total prize pool of MVR 15,000.

Winners of the MLBB qualifiers stand to take home MVR 7,000, with second and third place receiving MVR 5,000 and MVR 3,000 respectively. The top eight teams will secure a coveted spot in the DMGC, where they will go up against the best in the Maldives across multiple titles, including PUBG Mobile, Rocket League, and FC 25.

Dhiraagu describes the qualifiers as a rigorous and exciting test of both individual skill and team strategy, with stages becoming progressively more challenging. It is designed not only to spotlight the country’s top gaming talent but also to offer a platform for aspiring esports athletes to build their careers.
