Dhiraagu Launches MTV Mobile Streaming Service Through Medianet Partnership

Dhiraagu has expanded its digital entertainment offerings with the launch of MTV Mobile streaming services through a new partnership with Medianet, introducing bundled packages that combine mobile connectivity with television and on demand content.

The service, announced by Dhiraagu, allows customers to access a range of TV channels, on demand programmes, and sports content via mobile devices. According to the company, the initiative is intended to provide more flexible and affordable entertainment options, integrated directly with existing mobile services.

Under the new offering, customers can choose from Medianet bundles with subscription periods ranging from one month to one year, with prices starting from MVR 50 per month. In addition to the bundled packages, Dhiraagu is also offering its Video Club Mobile service, which focuses on local content and is available for a monthly fee of MVR 50.

Subscriptions can be activated through the Dhiraagu App by selecting the MTV Mobile with Dhiraagu option, reviewing available packages, and confirming the selection. Charges are either deducted from the customer’s mobile balance or added to the monthly bill, depending on the billing arrangement.

Dhiraagu said the launch forms part of its broader efforts to expand digital lifestyle services and integrate connectivity with entertainment platforms. The partnership with Medianet is positioned as a step towards meeting evolving customer demand for mobile based content consumption across the Maldives.
