Dhiraagu Marks Independence Day with Street Exhibitions Across Maldives

Dhiraagu marked the 60th anniversary of Maldivian independence with a series of street exhibitions held across several islands, bringing communities together in celebration of the country’s heritage and cultural identity.

The exhibitions, inspired by Dhiraagu’s 2025 calendar titled Minivankan Mathee Abadhah (Forever Independent), showcased artwork and installations reflecting national symbols and traditions. The initiative aimed to highlight the Maldives’ vibrant culture while honouring six decades of independence.
