Dhiraagu has announced the opening of applications for coaching partners ahead of the Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race (DMRR) 2025, the country’s largest annual running event.
Since 2018, the event has worked with official coaching partners to provide training opportunities that make fitness more accessible and inspire communities across the Maldives. Interested parties can apply to become coaching partners by emailing dmrr@dhiraagu.com.mv before 26 August 2025.
The 16th edition of the DMRR will take place on 24 October 2025 at Central Park in Hulhumalé. The race holds international recognition as the first and only event in the Maldives listed in the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) World Running calendar, with a route certified by World Athletics.
Over the years, DMRR has become one of the country’s most anticipated sporting occasions, attracting local and international runners. Dhiraagu says its coaching partner programme not only supports participants in preparing effectively but also strengthens the sense of unity and community that has become a hallmark of the race.
More information and registration details for the race are available at www.dmrr.mv.
