Dhiraagu has partnered with MOMS Aid to support the “Back to School 2025” programme, continuing its commitment to corporate social responsibility by assisting some of the country’s most vulnerable families.
The initiative is designed to provide essential school supplies to children from disadvantaged households, particularly those supported by widowed or single mothers who lack family support. The programme also extends assistance to mothers caring for children with special needs or those suffering from illness.
Through this partnership, Dhiraagu is contributing school supply packs containing shoes, socks, uniforms, bags, and stationery for children in the Foundation Stage (Pre-school levels) identified through MOMS Aid’s care list. This targeted support aims to ensure these young learners have the resources they need to begin their academic journey with confidence.
In addition to its involvement in the “Back to School” programme, Dhiraagu has also supported MOMS Aid’s “Ramadan Aid” initiative. This project provides essential food items to single mothers, mothers with special needs, and caregivers of children with disabilities, ensuring they have access to vital resources during the fasting month. Together, these initiatives have supported a total of 140 families.
MOMS Aid, a national charity dedicated to empowering women and disadvantaged families, works to uplift communities across the Maldives. Dhiraagu’s continued partnership reflects its broader mission to support social inclusion and improve the well-being of vulnerable groups.
