Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that the work on design and build of F. Dharanboodhoo harbor development project is ongoing, with overall 90% project progress.
Construction works of breakwater are well underway with 85% completion. The Final shipment of Rock boulders needed for the for the project works have been unloaded to the project site.
Scope of works for the project include dredging and excavation operations of 46,600cbm; the construction of a 253m quay wall; a 410m breakwater; a 64m revetment; installation of 2,500sqm of paved area and installation of harbor lights.
According to MTCC, the value of the project is MVR 40.2 million.
