The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid held a virtual meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo, Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz, today.
The two Ministers discussed the challenges faced by Maldives and Kosovo due to the COVID-19 pandemic and briefed on the measures taken by the respective governments to contain the spread of the virus.

Both Ministers also discussed strengthening bilateral and multilateral ties between the two countries by increasing cooperation in a wide range of areas of mutual interest including education, youth, culture and tourism.
Foreign Minister Shahid and Foreign Minister Gërvalla-Schwarz expressed confidence in continued cooperation and support between the two countries in the years ahead.
