The Ministry of Economic Development has announced the operating hours for goods outlets, cafes, and restaurants in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan and the following Shawwal period.
From the 8th of this month until the first seven days of Shawwal, goods outlets will be open from 5:30 am to 1:00 am. During Ramadan, cafes and restaurants will operate from 5:30 pm to 3:00 am. For the first seven days of Shawwal, these establishments will be open from 4:30 am to 3:00 am.
The adjusted schedule is designed to allow businesses more operational time while accommodating the needs of those observing the Ramadan fast. The extended hours provide greater convenience for individuals and families as they prepare for iftar and suhoor.
The Ministry urges all goods vendors and catering establishments in residential areas to strictly adhere to the designated operating hours.
