Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced that the work on design and build of Hdh. Hanimaadhoo Harbor Development Project is well underway, with overall 55% project progress.
According to MTCC, quay wall concrete works are ongoing. The company has commenced sand-filled breakwater construction works.
The Hdh. Hanimaadhoo Harbour project consists of; new harbor basin dredging of 53,522.50cbm; harbor entrance channel dredging of 31,575.50cbm; construction of a 355m breakwater; a 50m revetment; a 270m quay wall and installation of 2,583sqm of paved area.
MTCC revealed that the value of the project is MVR 64.6 million.
