Hotelier Maldives will host the Hotelier Maldives Awards 2025 on 14 June at Barceló Nasandhura Malé.
Launched last year, the awards aim to celebrate and recognise exceptional individuals driving excellence in the Maldives’ tourism and hospitality sector. The inaugural edition saw remarkable engagement, attracting over 300 nominations and more than 100,000 public votes.
Best Buy Maldives (BBM) presents the awards for a second consecutive year.
This year, the organisers received an additional 150 nominations, reflecting growing interest and industry participation. The judging panel evaluated entries between 20 February and 15 March, followed by a public voting phase that ended on 25 April with over 600,000 votes cast.
Hotelier Maldives expanded the awards to include four new categories for 2025. Winners will be determined through a weighted system, combining judges’ scores (60 percent) and public votes (40 percent).
The gala ceremony on 14 June will announce the winners in front of an audience of industry leaders, tourism professionals, and partners from across the Maldives.
