Leyfavethi Fenaka Blood Donation Programme to Reach Addu City

Fenaka is set to expand its blood donation camp, Leyfavethi Fenaka, to Addu City this month.

The initiative, with a slogan that translates to “My blood, another’s life,” aims to hold blood donation camps in every atoll where the utility company provides services. The Addu City camp will be held before 15 February 2026, the company said. Fenaka launched the programme in Malé on 23 December 2025, preceded by an awareness session on blood donation for participants.

The programme, conducted in collaboration with Maldives Blood Services (MBS), forms part of Fenaka’s efforts to support the national blood supply and promote voluntary blood donation across the country, the company noted.

The camp will be open to Fenaka employees, their families, and the general public. Fenaka said the initiative reflects its ongoing commitment to meeting national blood supply needs and encouraging community participation in life-saving donation efforts.
