Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) kickstarted the “Salhi Hulhule” – the airport-wide cleaning event on the 11th of September at the Velana International Airport.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih was handed the event T-shirt by the Acting MD of MACL Moosa Solih.
The event was commenced by the Acting MD Moosa Solih. According to MACL over 500 enthusiastic staff took part in the event.
Further, Salhi Hulhule, the airport-wide cleaning event was a success. In just 4 hours approximately 7000 plastic bottles were collected. All together around 35 tonnes of garbage was collected from Velana International Airport.
