Main Abu Dhabian oil company discusses prospective business opportunities in Maldives

The main oil company in Abu Dhabi has taken part in discussions with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with regards to potential speculation opportunities in the Maldives.

On the 16th of January 2019, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Abdulla Shahid, along with the Managing Director of STO Mr. Hussain Amru Mohamed Rashad, conducted a meeting with the Acting Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company) Mr. Saeed Mabark al-Rashidi and conversed about the means of increasing trade ties and alternatives of investment in the Maldives by their company.

ADNOC is a state-owned oil company of United Arab Emirates (UAE) . It is the 12-largest oil company in the world holding the seventh-largest proven reserves of oil in the world at 97.8 billion barrels
