After competing with globally renowned destinations, Maldives takes away the Seven Star Global Luxury Award for the third time.

Maldivian representative to the United Nations Office at Geneva, Dr. Hala Hameed received the award on behalf of the Maldives at a colorful ceremony held in Out Of The Blue Capsis Elite Resort, Greece.
Maldives contended against top destinations such as Dubai, Seychelles, Mauritius and Singapore, and won a vote amongst a panel consisting of travel agents, tour operators and travel industry experts.
Maldives won the prestigious award in 2013 and 2014 as well.
