The date and venue for Maldives Consumer Fair 2017 has been announced; the fair will be held from 4th to 6th May 2017 at the National Art Gallery.
According to Mr. Ismail Husham, Managing Director of the organizers ‘Blak’, the reason for delaying the fair, which was earlier scheduled for April, was due to the recent outbreak of influenza in the Maldives which has prompted the Health Ministry to advise against large public gatherings. He further said that the fair will still offer many promotions and lucky draws aimed at the forthcoming Ramadan season, as almost all of the 25 exhibitors of the fair will be organizing and conducting special promotional offers during the fair.
Maldives Consumer Fair is the biggest shopping festival in Maldives and is held annually. The fair offers exhibitors the chance to display products, conduct promotions and introduce new products to thousands of visitors. Maldives Consumer Fair 2017 has been exclusively sponsored by BHM and has been endorsed by both the Ministry of Economic Development and the Maldives National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
