Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldives, has announced the launch of its new Premium Economy service for domestic routes, set to commence on 13th April 2025. The airline aims to offer enhanced comfort and convenience for passengers travelling within the country.
Travellers can now book Premium Economy seats and enjoy several added benefits. These include a 25kg baggage allowance, one complimentary date change, and priority check-in, ensuring a smoother and faster airport experience.
Passengers departing from Malé will gain access to the Moonimaa Lounge, offering a relaxing environment with refreshments and comfortable seating. Lounge access will also be available for those departing from Dharavandhoo and Ifuru airports. Premium Economy passengers will receive priority boarding, and once onboard, they can look forward to a complimentary snack and drink.
To further enhance the experience, Premium Economy travellers will benefit from fast-track baggage handling, ensuring their luggage is among the first to arrive.
Maldivian has encouraged passengers to explore the upgraded service, which is now available for booking through the airline’s website, mobile app, and other booking channels.
