The Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) has announced its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2024/25, scheduled for 8 January 2025. During the meeting, a new executive board will be elected for a two-year term.
Call for Board Nominations
Elections will be held for 10 positions on the executive board, including:
- President (1 position)
- Vice President (2 positions)
- Secretary General (1 position)
- Treasurer (1 position)
- Executive Board Members (5 positions)
Members wishing to contest for a board position must submit a separate application in addition to registering for the AGM.
Registration and Deadlines
Members must preregister to attend the AGM by 5 January 2025 at 23:59hrs. Only members who have settled their 2024 membership fees by this date will be eligible to vote and stand for election.
The MATATO secretariat will manage all registration and administrative arrangements, while an election committee selected from the attendees will oversee the voting process.
