The housing initiative was announced during last month’s parliamentary election when President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu visited Eydhafushi to endorse Ahmed Saleem for the constituency.
Muizzu stated during his visit that the project was proposed by Saleem, who had obtained all necessary state permits prior to the contractual agreement.
Muizzu expressed confidence that this housing initiative would address the housing challenges faced by the residents of Eydhafushi.
