MMPRC and ADK Hospital Sign Agreement to Promote Medical Tourism in the Maldives

The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ADK Hospital to enhance the Maldives’ position as a medical tourism destination. The agreement was formalised at a ceremony held on 12 December 2024 at MMPRC Headquarters, with MMPRC’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Ibrahim Shiuree, and ADK’s Managing Director, Ahmed Afaal, signing on behalf of their respective organisations​.

The collaboration marks a new chapter in the Maldives’ tourism diversification efforts, expanding beyond its established reputation for luxury travel.
