Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has signed an agreement with Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure towards implementation of B. Kamadhoo and Ga. Dhaandhoo Harbor Development Project. CEO Adam Azim signed on behalf of MTCC and Ms. Zeeniya Hameed, PS, signed on behalf of the Ministry.
B. Kamadhoo habor development project is valued at MVR 47.01 million and the project is to completed within 400 days. Scope of works involve, 21,239cbm of harbor dredging operations, 4397 cbm of channel dredging operations, construction of a 180m breakwater, a 628m revetment, a 346m quay wall, installation of 1730sqm of pavement, harbor lights and navigation lights.
Ga. Dhaandhoo harbor development project is valued at MVR 70.86 million and it is to be completed within 485 days. Dhaandhoo Constituency MP Yaugoob Abdulla also graced the ceremony. Scope of works involve, 52099cbm of harbor dredging operations, 4953cbm of channel dredging operations, construction of a 30m groyne, a 333m breakwater, a 170m revetment, a 529m quay wall, installation of 1203sqm of harbor pavement, a harbor bridge, a ramp, harbor lights and navigation lights.
