Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has provided an update on the Aa. Ukulhas Harbor Project. According to MTCC, the work on the design and build of Aa. Ukulhas Harbor Quay Wall and Jetty Construction is well underway, with overall, 92% project progress.
MTCC has further commenced existing breakwater profiling works on 12th January 2022.
The scope of the project includes, dredging and excavation operations of 19,630cbm; construction of a 31m breakwater; a 136m quay wall; a 138.73m jetty and installation of 580sqm harbor pavement. This project is valued is MVR 19.9 million.
