Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has provided an update on the GA. Villingili Harbour Development Project.
According to MTCC, the project is currently well underway. New harbour dredging work has currently reached 45% completion, and quay wall block installation work has commenced.
Scope of works includes dredging and excavation operations of 59,536.80 cbm harbour basin, construction of a 275m breakwater, a 613m revetment, a 105m groyne, a 685m quay wall.
MTCC revealed that the value of the project is MVR 107.86 million.
