Male’ Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) has signed an agreement with the Ministry of National Planning and Infrastructure to design and build a basis for the water supply and sewerage facilities in R. Kinolhas.
The Agreement was signed by the Managing Director Mr. Adam Azim on behalf of MWSC and the Director-General Shaana Faarooq on behalf of Ministry of National Planning and Infrastructure.
As per the planning ministry, MWSC will design, establish and connect residences in respective islands to the water and sewerage system. A reverse osmosis plant and strategic tanks will also be established.
A budget more than MVR 36 million will be spent on establishing a water and sewerage system in Kinolhas.
