Ooredoo Maldives hosted a thrilling futsal match at the National Stadium in Malé on 8th July, featuring football legend Jay-Jay Okocha and the Vice President of the Maldives. The event, a highlight of Okocha’s visit, saw the former Paris Saint-Germain star join forces with the Vice President and three winners from the “Play Futsal with Okocha” social media contest, competing against the Maziya team, proud ambassadors of Ooredoo Maldives.
The match, played in a 6-a-side format with two 20-minute halves, ended with Team Maziya emerging victorious with a score of 7-5. The teams were as follows:
