Ooredoo Maldives has announced the appointment of Mr. Damian Philip Chappell as an Independent Board Director (as a duly nominated representative of Wataniya International FZ-LLC) and as the Chairman of the Company, effective from 1st April 2019.
Mr. Chappell is an Australian national who currently serves as the Chief Consumer Officer at Ooredoo Qatar, and has more than 17 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry. He has a Bachelors’ Degree of Applied Science, Information Technology from the Swinburne University of Technology, Australia.
