Ooredoo Maldives Launches Special Boduberu Class with Habeys Boduberu

Ooredoo Maldives is offering music enthusiasts the chance to learn the rhythms of Maldivian heritage through a four-week Boduberu class led by acclaimed band Habeys Boduberu. The initiative, part of the company’s 20th anniversary celebrations, will run on Saturdays from 16 August to 6 September at Ooredoo Maldives Headquarters in Malé.

The programme, limited to 20 participants aged 18 and above, is free of charge and will provide hands-on instruction in Boduberu, a traditional drumming style deeply rooted in Maldivian culture. Sessions will take place from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with registration open until 16 August on a first-come, first-served basis.
