Ooredoo Maldives has partnered with Charukeys for their second art festival to be held from 15th – 16th September 2022 at Social Center. The festival will be open for visitors from 4pm – 6pm and from 8pm to 12am on both dates.
The goal of Charukeys is to provide a platform for all artists and creatives interested and is focused on providing priority to new creatives to showcase their work.
“We are very excited to partner with Ooredoo as our main sponsor to make Charukeys 2022 a successful event. We are grateful for the wonderful support to promote local artists and provide them a platform to showcase their talent. We invite all artists and everyone interested to join us on 15th and 16th September to have a good time.” said Mohamed Ahnaf Ibrahim, Founder of Charukeys.
All participants of the Charukeys festival are welcome to sell their work and network with other artists as members of the community so that they may better understand the arts scene they are stepping into. Participants will also get the chance to interact with experts in various creative fields during the festival and gain insight of their respective fields.
At Charukeys 2022, you can expect to see a multitude of art forms on display both onstage and throughout the festival. The event organizers hope to build a community of young, passionate artists to help each other and grow together as they believe that artistic expression is an essential part of any community.
Last year at the first ever Charukeys session which took place over two days, three different types of creatives were showcased; Visual Art, Music and Writing (short prose and poetry). This year’s Charukeys session will include even more variety. On top of the three categories from last year, performance art (dance) and arts & crafts will be included. With the hope to create a fun and spunky atmosphere, visitors will also get to enjoy a variety of food and drink at the Charukeys festival.
