Ooredoo Maldives Partners with Mission for Migrant Workers Maldives (MMWM) as Digital Partner

Ooredoo Maldives has announced its partnership with Mission for Migrant Workers Maldives as the Digital Partner under its CSR initiative to connect and enrich the lives of the migrant workers of the nation. 

“We are pleased to partner with MMWM as a Digital Partner and support the important work done by the team. We look forward to collaborate on exciting projects and find innovative ways to enrich the lives of the migrant community in the country,” said the company’s CCO, Hussain Niyaz.

“We are proud to have Ooredoo as our digital partner to work together on our shared vision and values aimed to benefit migrant workers in the Maldives. Together, we hope to expand our network and connect with the most vulnerable migrant workers across the country,” stated the co-founder and president of Mission for Migrant Workers Maldives, Dr. Minah Faiz Rashad.

The telecom giant has partnered with the NGO earlier this year as well to distribute Iftar meal packs to foreign workers. The meal packs were distributed every Friday during the holy month of Ramadan and on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. 

Mission for Migrant Workers Maldives (MMWM) is the first registered non-profit organization in the Maldives working to advocate for the rights, transform vulnerabilities and actualize justice for migrant workers by following a human rights-based approach.
