The Ooredoo Nation Maldives Championship Contender Series Season 2 has successfully concluded, bringing together the top esports talent from across the Maldives. The much-anticipated tournament, which focused on popular games such as PUBG MOBILE and EAFC24, saw intense competition and outstanding performances from participants, further highlighting the rapid growth and enthusiasm for esports within the country.
In the PUBG MOBILE category, the team AKAZAYA ESPORTS emerged as the champions, securing the top prize of MVR 7,000. The runner-up position was claimed by E2S TM7, who won MVR 4,000, while OPZ Sports secured third place with a prize of MVR 2,000. Additional prizes were awarded to BLK ESPORTS, GAMEOVER OTF, and MVP AKA MAAHA, with rewards ranging from MVR 500 to MVR 1,000.
The EAFC24 competition also saw fierce rivalry, with Mohamed Ziyan Ismail crowned as the champion, taking home a prize of MVR 8,000. Hussain Yaeesh Shiham secured the second position with a prize of MVR 4,500, followed by Mohamed Rakin in third place, who won MVR 2,500.
