The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Matrek bin Abdullah Al-Ajalin Al-Dosari, paid a farewell call on President Dr Mohamed Muizzu on Tuesday morning at the President’s Office.
During the meeting, President Muizzu expressed his appreciation for the Ambassador’s contributions in enhancing the Maldives–Saudi Arabia relationship over the course of his tenure. He noted the steady progress in bilateral ties and the various high-level exchanges that have taken place, crediting the Ambassador’s efforts in fostering closer cooperation between the two countries.
The President also wished Ambassador Al-Dosari success in his future endeavours, expressing confidence that the bonds between the two nations would continue to grow. Reflecting on his Umrah trip last May, President Muizzu recalled the warm hospitality extended by the Saudi government and reiterated his intent to maintain close engagement with Saudi Arabia moving forward.
The meeting concluded with both parties affirming their commitment to deepening diplomatic relations and exploring new avenues for collaboration.
