Young football enthusiasts in the Maldives have a unique opportunity this summer. Patina Maldives has announced an exclusive partnership with the Real Madrid Foundation to host the legendary football club’s first-ever soccer clinics in the Maldives.
From 4 July to 12 August 2024, a Real Madrid Foundation youth coach will lead daily football sessions tailored for three age groups: 5-9, 10-14, and 15-17. The programme will focus on developing individual and team skills using Real Madrid’s renowned “Play The Real Way” training methodology, which emphasizes sportsmanship and play.
Towards the end of the camp, participants will have the chance to interact with an elite player ambassador from the UEFA’s top-ranked football club. The sessions will take place on a newly constructed astroturf pitch near Patina Maldives’ Fari Marina Village.
All camp participants will receive official Real Madrid Foundation gear, including a football jersey, shorts, socks, drawstring bag, sweatbands, and a cap. Those completing at least four days of coaching will also receive a Real Madrid Foundation participation certificate.
The Real Madrid Foundation football clinics are open to guests of Patina Maldives as well as guests from neighbouring resorts. Special Stay & Play offers are also available for Maldivian residents and work permit holders.
