A delegation from the Maldives led by Minister of Finance Dr. Mohamed Shafeeq has held a meeting today with the CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), Mr. Sultan Al-Marshad; the delegation included Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem and Minister of State for Finance Hussain Adam.
The meeting, held at the headquarters of the Saudi Fund for Development, focused on the progress and prospects of development projects initiated by SFD in the Maldives.
During the deliberations, CEO Sultan Al-Marshad underscored the commitment of the Saudi Fund for Development to supporting the Maldives in its socio-economic advancement. He reiterated SFD’s dedication to implementing projects that contribute to the well-being and prosperity of the Maldivian people.
The visiting Maldivian delegation expressed gratitude for the support extended by the Saudi Fund for Development and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration in driving sustainable development in the Maldives. Ministers Dr. Mohamed Shafeeq, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem, and Hussain Adam conveyed their government’s appreciation for the partnership with SFD and highlighted the positive impact of ongoing projects on various sectors of the Maldivian economy.
