State Trading Organisation (STO) has successfully inaugurated the Nexus of Care Symposium, a pioneering event aimed at enhancing healthcare efficiency and sustainability across the Maldives. The symposium, held under the theme “Enhancing Healthcare Efficiency and Sustainability,” marks the first of a series designed to foster collaboration and innovation among healthcare institutions.
The inaugural session brought together representatives from major hospitals, facilitating dialogue on key areas critical to the healthcare sector:
- Sustainable Healthcare Practices: Exploring actionable steps to minimise environmental impact while maintaining high-quality care.
- Patient Care Enhancements: Sharing innovations and technologies to improve outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Healthcare Workforce Efficiency: Addressing workforce challenges and proposing solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Efficient Procurement Strategies: Highlighting the importance of streamlined processes for cost management and timely medical supply access.
Participants were also introduced to STO’s extensive range of healthcare offerings, including advanced medical technologies and globally renowned brands. The event served as a platform for exchanging ideas, addressing challenges, and identifying opportunities to elevate patient care in the Maldives.
