Maldivian Ambassador for Saudi Arabia and Non-Resident Ambassador for Kuwait and United Arab Emirates Mr. Abdullah Hameed has begun talks with members of the Council of Saudi Chambers to increase Saudi investments in the Maldives.
According to Gulf News, Ambassador Abdullah Hameed urged for alliances and partnerships between the two countries as the best way to increase business prospects. He also stated that Maldivian entrepreneurs were eager to visit Saudi Arabia and discuss prospective business and investment opportunities.
Speaking at the meeting, the Secretary General of Council of Saudi Chambers Dr. Saud Al Meshari conversed on exchanging business delegations to improve trade relations within the two countries, highlighting on the prolific tourism industry of Maldives.
