The Tekkers Dhiraagu Resort Cup 2025 officially kicked off today at The Marina at CROSSROADS Maldives, bringing together resort teams from across the Malé zone for a futsal tournament celebrating sport, teamwork and community spirit.
Organised by Tekkers Sports Management and supported by Dhiraagu, the tournament will run from 15 to 29 June and features teams from nine resorts competing in two groups. The event serves as a platform for resort staff to engage in recreational activity and strengthen bonds across the tourism sector.
Group A includes teams from The Marina at CROSSROADS Maldives, SO/ Maldives, Sun Siyam Olhuveli, Velassaru Maldives and Embudu Village. Group B features JW Marriott Maldives Kaafu Atoll Island Resort, OZEN LIFE Maadhoo, SAii Lagoon Maldives (Curio Collection by Hilton) and Hard Rock Hotel Maldives.
The initiative reflects ongoing efforts to support wellness and foster a sense of belonging within resort communities, with Dhiraagu continuing its involvement in programmes that use sport to bring people together.
