Male’ Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) has revealed that 41 percent of the water system project in Adh. Hangnaameedhoo has been completed.
MWSC stated that 70% of the construction of the water plant and the construction of a 91.4 kilometer long water network have been completed. The foundation work of the water storage facility is currently underway.
Under the project, 2 RO plants and 3 water storage facilities will be installed. According to MWSC, generator sets and water analysis equipment required to maintain the water system will be provided.
The Adh. Hangnaameedhoo water and sewerage project was awarded to MWSC by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.
The project is valued at MVR 21.65 million.
