Soneva Jani has become the first ever resort to become a member of International Pole and Line Foundation (IPNLF). Those who participate in this initiative must ensure that their fish supply is from a sustainable source caught using poles.
The purpose of IPNLF initiative is to build better business relationships between the fishermen and the resorts who are involved in sustainable fishing to increase the participation of the people involved in preserving the environment.
IPNLF is a not-for-profit organization that works on promoting one by one or pole fishing on an international level while Soneva is an international sustainable luxury resort operator established in 1995.
