New addition to the Soneva portfolio is the brand new resort; Soneva Jani located in Noonu Medhurafu.
With the opening of the resort last friday with guests recieved on Saturday, JAni is now one of the biggest resorts operated in the Maldives with 24 water villas and one massive inland villla.
The resort has less rooms with huge spaces between them for maximum privacy. Their target is to cater to clients and give them a sense of individuality and a custom service with the privacy they deserve. Other unique facilities include a restaurent with multi cultural cuisines, a club house and spa along with the first silent cinema in the Maldives.
Soneva has another operation in Baa Atoll called Soneva Fushi that started off in 1995. With many resorts opening in the coming months the future looks bright for tourism in the Maldives.
