Singapore Airlines has decided to promote Maldives in collaboration with Maldives Marketing and Public Corporation (MMPRC). An agreement was signed with Singapore Airlines during a ceremony held in Hotel Jen on 5th May 2019.
From Singapore Airlines, Managing Director, Mr. Thoyyib Mohamed signed the agreement, while Mr. Campbell Wilson, Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing of Singapore Airlines signed the agreement for Singapore Airlines.
Under this agreement, both parties will spend on promoting Maldives in 6 destinations which are; China, America, Japan, Australia, Singapore and South Korea. Roadshows, Fame trips and etc will be held under the agreement as per Mr. Thoyyib.
Singapore Airlines began their operations to Maldives in March 1984. Its subsidiary Silk Airlines, began its operations in October 2015. Both Airlines operate 16 flights on a weekly basis to Maldives.
