Minister of State for Tourism, Dr. Ahmed Solih and Permanent Secretary Aishath Susan meets with the Ambassador of Georgia to the Maldives and the newly-appointed Honorary Consul, Mr. Majeed on August 5th.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss how to further strengthen the bilateral collaboration between countries for tourism development.
An MoU was signed recently between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Abdulla Shahid and the Ambassador of Georgia to the Maldives, Mr. Archil Dzuliashvili during the sidelines of the Maldives Partnership Forum 2019.
This Memorandum of Understanding aims to further strengthen the partnership between Maldives and Georgia and aims to continue cooperation on key bilateral and multilateral issues of mutual concern.
