Kooddoo Airport VIP Lounge has been inaugurated by Hon. Vice President of the Maldives Mr. Abdulla Jihad on the first of December 2016.
“We are pleased to announce that from the 1st December 2016, Kooddoo Airport (GKK) will be offering a VIP Lounge facility for passengers departing from Kooddoo Airport. The Lounge will be under the management of Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort and has been developed to provide a comfortable environment for travellers while they wait for their scheduled departures and will offer following services:

- Selected reading materials
- Smoking Area
- Restroom Areas
- Satellite television
- Quality selection of food & beverages.
- Outdoor Balcony
- Secure Luggage Storage
The VIP Lounge operating hours will vary to suit the daily flight schedules of Maldivian Airlines for all flights departing from Kooddoo onwards to Male’, informed Scott Bowen – Cluster General Manager – Mercure Kooddoo & Pullman Maamutaa, Maldives
