The State Electric Company (STELCO) has announced that 469 of its employees have successfully completed the company’s leadership enhancement programme.
STELCO’s Managing Director, Hussain Fahmy, shared the news on social media platform X, highlighting the programme’s theme, “Strengthening the Path to a Brighter Future.” Fahmy explained that 51 teams from STELCO participated in the training, which took place at the Girifushi Training Centre. The employees have now returned to their roles with improved leadership skills aimed at supporting the company’s ongoing growth and development.
“The programme, which saw 469 employees trained across nine batches, reflects STELCO’s dedication to cultivating strong leadership within the company,” Fahmy stated.
He further expressed gratitude to Sports Minister Abdulla Rafiu and President Dr Mohamed Muizzu for their support in making the initiative a success, reinforcing STELCO’s commitment to enhancing the capabilities of its workforce for the future.
